Iran is willing to resume atomic talks with Washington on condition that it is approached with "dignity" and "honor", Iran's top diplomat has stated.

The Iranian diplomat declared only diplomacy was effective, and revealed recent overtures had originated from intermediaries to resume discussions with the American leadership. He claimed Iran did not have undeclared nuclear sites, and Tehran was not yet able to authorize the global atomic watchdog to visit struck enrichment centers for safety concerns.

Walking a Difficult Route

Araghchi is treading a challenging course since Iran wishes not to be perceived to be proceeding from a stance of vulnerability, and he emphatically stated that Iran had arisen stronger in military terms and mentally from the coordinated strike on its nuclear sites in June.

He was addressing at a security conference in Tehran where he restated that Iran had "an absolute privilege to process nuclear material on home soil that it will perpetually retain" – the main reason of the impasse in the previous talks.

Prior Negotiations Abruptly Concluded

The previous five rounds of negotiations between the US and Iran were ended suddenly and hostile conclusion on 12 June when Israel, with US support, struck Iranian nuclear sites in a 12-day war that culminated with the US president asserting the locations had been obliterated. Afterward, Western states employed their authority to reimpose UN-wide sanctions, but Iran maintains they have not had a significant effect.

Ideal Resolution Proposed

Tehran representatives said they felt they had achieved a "perfect agreement" to the enrichment issue in earlier negotiations, when it was decided an local partnership with American involvement could refine atomic fuel. The two nations would have been able to assert triumph since local refinement would have remained and the US could be assured that Iran's nuclear programme was solely for peaceful purposes.

It had not been agreed in the negotiations that American atomic experts could operate inside Iran, but that was a reasonable assumption of the cooperative offer. Diplomats asserted three times they had reached agreement with Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff only for the deal to disintegrate due to "spoilers in Washington".

Existing Status

Tehran representatives said the cooperative arrangement was now off the table, but it seems highly likely the suggestion could be reintroduced in some form if talks reopen.

The American leader last week claimed he had been obtaining communications that Iran wanted to restart talks, but confidentially Tehran representatives say they are not yet obtaining consistent overtures from the United States either explicitly or from significant local go-betweens, such as the Qatari government, the Egyptian leadership, Oman and the Saudi kingdom. The Iran's state department has been criticized of inactivity in the face of the US president's straightforward manner, but Iran asserts diplomacy is not part of a performance.

Political Stance

In his speech to the conference, intended to depict the US as a dominant force that misuses the notion of worldwide standards, Araghchi declared the two-week conflict demonstrated the dispute could not be resolved by military means. He said the attacks began with a American requirement for an complete Tehran capitulation and ended with an unconditional call for a halt to hostilities.

Iran is certain the first strikes by Israel were executed with full US knowledge and coordination, making faith hard to restore.

Diplomacy Continues the Final Resolution

Araghchi stated: "It was not Iran that had abandoned negotiations; it was the United States and the western countries that had always attempted to impose their demands during the talks. Dialogue can still be viable and remains the primary answer to resolve disagreements, but its standards, regulations and principles must be followed."

"Provided that they talk to the Iranian people with the tone of respect and respect, they will obtain a reply in the identical approach."

Restoration and Reconstruction

In what is described by Iranian officials as the conflict of restoration and reconstruction, Araghchi said he was assured Iran's defence capabilities "are considerably enhanced than prior to 13 or 14 June of this year. Our entire military infrastructure have been restored. We acquired multiple understandings from this conflict; we have discovered our internal vulnerabilities and the weaknesses of the enemy."

He stated: "We successfully passed this engagement. Our nuclear technology, which they aimed to obliterate, stays intact. The sites and gear, if damaged, will be rebuilt; what is crucial is the determination of the citizens of Tehran and then the national cohesion that they sought to undermine, but were unable to destroy. The Iranian people have grown more resilient, more cohesive, and more supportive of the government and the state in the aftermath of this invasion."
